Mr. Patrick Bonner, 54, of Hogansville, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021, of injuries received in a traffic accident. Mr. Bonner was born June 23, 1966, in DeKalb County, son of the late Marvin (Buck) Bonner and Patsy Hubbard Bonner. A resident of Hogansville most of his life, he was employed by Interstate Electrical in LaGrange and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Hogansville, where he had served as a Deacon for over 20 years. Patrick enjoyed hunting, fishing, and taking care of his farm animals, but most of all he loved being with his grandchildren and being involved in his church. Survivors include his wife, Monique Bonner of Hogansville, GA; sons and daughters in-law, Joshua and Lacy Bonner, Jacob and Jada Bonner, all of LaGrange, GA; daughter, Jailyn Bonner of Hogansville; grandchildren, Hailey, Braxton, Kelbi, Maxton, Bentley, Haisley, and another soon to arrive; and his brothers and sister in-law, Scott Bonner, Keith and Candy Bonner, both of Hogansville; and a number of nieces and nephews.. Patrick considered his pastor, Alan Kirk, and Alan's family to be his family also. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 13, at Antioch Baptist Church. Pastor Alan Kirk and Pastor Bo Foster will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Antioch Baptist Church from 6 until 9 Sunday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
