Patricia Brown Smith

Mrs. Patricia Brown Smith, 58, of Newnan, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Mrs. Smith was born July 24, 1967, in LaGrange, daughter of the late Johnny Hill Brown, Sr., and Carol Coker Brown. A 1985 graduate of Hogansville High School, she was employed for many years as a customer service representative and personal banker in the banking industry. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in LaGrange, loved animals, enjoyed music, and considered family the central part of her life.

Survivors include her husband, Rick Smith of Newnan; step-daughter, Cassie Cheyenne Smith of Lebanon, OR; step-granddaughter, Kylie Smith; sister, Tammy Hooks of Hogansville; brother, Johnny "JB" Brown, Jr. and his wife Angie, also of Hogansville; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 3, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Dale Prather will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Sunday, prior to the service.
