Patricia Johnson Moody

MRS. PATRICIA J. MOODY Mrs. Patricia Johnson Moody, 77 of Hogansville, passed away Friday, October 18, 2019 at hospice LaGrange. Born April 30, 1942 in Sargent, Mrs. Moody was the daughter of the late Lee Roy and Effie Lorelle Estes Johnson. She was a resident of Troup County for 30 years, was an avid gardener, loved cooking, reading, decorating, and most of all, shopping. Survivors include her daughters and sons in-law, Melissa and Jeb Howington of Hogansville, and Angie and Hank Burke of LaGrange; sister, Dolly Bonner of Americus; brother Tommy Johnson of Cordele; grandchildren, Anna McNamee, Ethan Howington, Kaleigh Burke, and Eric Burke; and a great-grandson, Emmett McNamee. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moody was preceded in death by her husband, Jess W. Moody and her son, Eric Scott Hammett. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 20, at the graveside in Corinth Cemetery with the Reverend John Evans officiating.
