Patricia J. Long

PATRICIA J. LONG Patricia J. Long, 75, of Hogansville, passed away, Thursday, February 26, 2015, at West Georgia Medical Center. Ms. Long was born August 16, 1939, in Decatur, Illinois, daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson Williamson and Thelma Pfeifer Williamson. A resident of Jonesboro for 17 years, she had lived in Hogansville since 2009. Ms. Long worked outside the home for many years but is remembered by her family as a wonderful cook and homemaker. Survivors include her daughters, Pamela Gradick of John's Island, SC, Julia Letchworth and her husband Rodney of Albany; sons, Richard Long, Jr. and his wife Jackie of Winder, Christopher Long of Albany; sister, Susan of Decatur, IL; brother, Jerry of Yulee, FL; grandchildren, Georgianne and her husband Chad, Erin, Johnny IV and his wife Jessi, Kim and her husband Ryan, Joshua, Paris and Thomas; great-grandchildren, Robbie, Emily, Johnny V, Cameron, Lily, Gabriel, Arilyn, Jacob, Hannah, Arya; and her caregivers, Misty and Larry Snyder and Amanda Robinson. The family will plan a memorial service at a later time. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
