MRS. PATRICIA LACKEY Mrs. Patricia Maxwell Lackey, 47, of LaGrange, died Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 18, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend Debbie Dollar and the Reverend Steve McGinnis officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m., Monday. Mrs. Lackey was born March 25, 1965, in LaGrange and was a lifelong resident of Troup County. She had been employed as a front end manager for Piggly Wiggly Stores. Survivors include her husband, Marvin Lackey; daughter and son in-law, Holli and Robert Clendenin; son and daughter in-law, Bill and Jennifer Hammond, all of LaGrange; her father and step-mother, James H. (Pete) and Geneva Maxwell of Ranburne, AL; sisters, Tracy Cronic and Tammey Hewell, both of Hogansville; and three grandchildren, Robert, Ryan, and Lauren. She was preceded in death by a son, Dale Hammond; and her mother, Nellie Sims Maxwell Edwards. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
