Odelle Formby Webb

MRS. ODELLE F. WEBB Mrs. Odelle Formby Webb, 96, of Atlanta and Corinth, died Monday, October 27, 2008, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 30, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Sheila Crowe will officiate and interment will be in the Corinth Cemetery. Mrs. Webb was born October 22, 1912, in Heard county, daughter of the late Sanders and Essie Leona Arrington Formby. A 1935 graduate of West Georgia College, she served a number of years as president of Hogansville Federal Savings and Loan Association and retired as an assistant vice-president for Fulton Federal Savings and Loan Association. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Hogansville and was a past president of Hogansville Pilot Club. Survivors include her son, Dr. James L. Webb, Jr. of Atlanta and Corinth; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Webb. The Claude A.
