Nina Vaughn Roberson

Mrs. Nina Roberson, 96, of Grantville, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021, at Newnan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Roberson was born November 13, 1924, in Heard County, daughter of the late Claude and Beulah Vaughn. A resident of Grantville most of her life, she was a member of the Grantville Baptist Church, now Change Church, and had been active in the Grantville Senior Center. She enjoyed cooking, baking and sewing. Survivors include her daughter, Hilda Mooney of Grantville; son, Danny Roberson of Pine Mountain; sister, Delores Davis of Newnan; grandchildren, Jeff Roberson, Terry Williamson, Shelia Hand, Joyce Clark, Chris Roberson, and Samantha Roberson; and a number of step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Albert Roberson; and her sons, Bobby Roberson and Thomas Jerome Roberson. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, February 20, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Pastor T. J. Boyd and Pastor Carl Hill will officiate and interment will be in the Grantville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
