Nikolas "Nik" Bezwerchyj, 60, of Hogansville, passed away Friday, August 19, 2022, at his home with his wife at his side.
A native of Brooklyn, New York, Mr. Bezwerchyj had made his home in Georgia for a number of years and was employed as an electrical technician for Panasonic in Peachtree City for ten years and then for Southwire in Carrollton for ten years. He enjoyed camping and fishing, especially deep-sea fishing, loved his dogs and his tools, and loved taking things apart and putting them back together.
Survivors include his wife, Michelle Bezwerchyj of Hogansville; daughter and son in-law, Ashli and Tony Lewis, Jr. of Palmetto; son, Anthony Bezwerchyj of Las Vegas; granddaughter, Rylee-Ann Lozada of Palmetto; his mother, Nina Bezwerchyj; brothers, Andy Bezwerchyj and Peter Bezwerchyj. He was preceded in death by his son, Nik Bezwerchyj; father, Mykola Bezwerchyj; and brother, Dan Bezwerchyj.
A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, August 27, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Saturday.
