MRS. NELLIE EVANS Mrs. Nellie Boswell Evans, 93, of Hogansville, died Friday, December 9, 2011, at Florence Hand Home in LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, December 11, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend James Calhoun will officiate and interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3 until 4 Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Evans was born January 30, 1918, in Coweta County, daughter of the late Dallas and Lizzie Belle Hinesley Boswell. A resident of Hogansville since 1943, she was employed by Uniroyal, Inc. for many years, and was a member of Family Worship Center in Hogansville. She was always involved in church activities, enjoyed working crossword puzzles, and was an avid walker. Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Bonnie and Erven Chisenhall of McDonough; daughter in-law, Diane Evans of Hogansville; four grandchildren, Barry and Leisa Chisenhall of McDonough, Amy and Sidney Hinton of Raleigh, NC, Ronnie and Becky Evans of Spartanburg, SC, Kenneth and Gloria Evans of Jackson, TN; and eleven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Eugene Evans; and her son, Ronnie E. Evans. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 3 until 4, Sunday afternoon, December 11th, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Services: 4:00 p.m., Sunday, December 11th, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Interment: Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan
