Nancy Gallaway Pressley

Mrs. Nancy Gallaway Pressley, 73, formerly of Hogansville, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. Mrs. Pressley was born April 5, 1947, in Grantville, daughter of the late Paul Wilkes Gallaway and Ruby Ingram Gallaway. She was a lifelong resident of the Hogansville area, was a member of Highland Baptist Church, and was employed as a security agent for ATT/Pinkerton Security Services prior to retirement. Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Powell of Dayton, TN; son and daughter in-law, Alan and Laurie Gallaway; grandchildren, Christopher Alan Hart, Mallory Gallaway, Alyssa Powell; sisters, Emily Stanley of Fairburn and Sue Wheelus of Hogansville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Pressley. The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, June 27, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Terry Rainwater will officiate and interment will be in the Corinth Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 until 4 Saturday afternoon. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
