Nancy Morrell Norris Mulvey

Nancy Morrell Norris Mulvey, of Greenville, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at Kindred Hospice in Columbus. Nancy was born August 17, 1939, in Greenville, daughter of the late John Hare Powel Norris and Evelyn Street Norris. She was a direct descendant of the noted Quaker family of Isaac Norris, 1st of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She lived in Greenville most of her life and was a member of Greenville United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her son, Stephen Dale Mulvey, she is survived by her brother, John Powel Norris and his wife, Diana of Greenville; and several cousins. The graveside service was conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 9, in the Greenville Cemetery, with the Reverend Martina Bober officiating. The family wishes to thank all the caregivers at Morningside Assisted Living in Columbus, Georgia for their loving care during the past seven years. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville was in charge of arrangements.
