Nancy Pike Howard

Mrs. Nancy Pike Howard, 85, of Roopville and formerly of the Corinth Community of Heard County, passed away Monday, June 30, 2025, at her home.

Mrs. Howard was born May 2, 1940, in Corinth, daughter of the late Tommy Pike and Martha Hammett Pike Woodruff. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and enjoyed reading, playing bingo, going to yard sales, and watching her great-nephew race.

Survivors include her daughters, Diane Shelnutt of Roopville, Nan Davis and her husband Gary Davis of Franklin; son, Lionel Howard and his wife Nancy Howard of Corinth; sister, Joann Pike McKinley of Newnan; eight grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 2, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Interment will be in the Corinth Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 2, prior to the service.
