Mrs. Myrna Watts Joiner, 80, of Douglasville, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at her home. Born September 27, 1936, in Grantville, Mrs. Joiner was the daughter of the late Raymond and Pauline Phillips Watts. She was a longtime resident of Cobb and Douglas counties and was a retired florist and caterer. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Smyrna. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerrell R. Joiner and is survived by her sons, Ronald Joiner of Villa Rica, Charles Joiner and his wife, Nancy of Dallas; five grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 2, at the graveside in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville, with the Reverend Tim Henderson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Friday. Claude. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
