Mr. Mychael Dwayne Bragg, 23, of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
Michael was born December 30, 1993, in LaGrange, lived in Columbus for a number of years, was a graduate of Hardaway High School, and was employed by Bonnie Plant Farms. He enjoyed cooking, was an avid UGA football fan, and was an amazing Dad to his son.
Survivors include his wife, Kaylee Smith; son, Alexander Dwayne Levi Bragg; his mother, Sheila Lynch; half-sister, Megan Hornsby; half-brother, T. J. Hornsby, all of Columbus; grandparents, Alton and Debbie Bragg of Hogansville, Dean Jacobs of Phenix City, AL; and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father, Elton Dwayne Bragg; his uncle, Donald Fomby; and his great-grandmother, Chloe Bragg.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 14, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Matthew Dellinger will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Friday night.
