Moiraine Amethera Zuniga, age 11, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021, at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston.
Moiraine was born August 26, 2009, in Plymouth, Massachusetts and lived in South Carolina before making her home in Hogansville two years ago. A budding artist, she was a student at Callaway Middle School and is remembered by her family and friends as being wise, understanding, caring, fearless, funny, and having a big heart.
Survivors include her parents, Nicole Hunter and Edward Zuniga; brother, Edward Hunter Zuniga; grandparents, Vickie Uroz and Scott Pruitt, all of Hogansville, Edward Zuniga of Colorado, Lisa Hunter and Rob Verville of South Carolina, Dwayne Hunter of Massachusetts; great-grandparents, Ann Louise Smith of El Paso, Texas, Steven and Brenda Uroz of Florida, Flavia Zuniga of El Paso, Arthur and Mureen Randall of South Carolina, and Lillian Taylor Hunter of Massachusetts.
Viewing and visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Sunday, February 7, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville.
