MR. MITCHELL E. DAY
Mr. Mitchell Everett Day, 74, of Luthersville, died Sunday, November 22, 2009, at his home.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 24, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Pastor Tommy Worthey will officiate and interment will be in the Luthersville Cemetery.
Mr. Day was born January 6, 1935, in Upson County, son of the late Mitchell and Florence Meeks Day. A veteran of service in the U. S. Army, he lived in Thomaston most of his life and retired from Upson Regional Medical Center. He had lived in Luthersville since 2005 and was a member of Luthersville Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, June Day of Luthersville; daughters and sons in-law, Wanda and James Hall of Warner Robins, Melissa Day of Luthersville, and Frances and Rex Tindell of Greenville; sons and daughters in-law, Mitchell Eli Day and Stacy and Terry Day, all of Thomaston, Christopher Lee Day, Billy Day, Tyler Day, and John and Evelyn Ingram, all of Luthersville; sister, Jo Day Hill of Sparks, NV; brothers, David Day of Jacksonville, FL and Donald Day of McDonough; sixteen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.

Services: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 24th, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home
