MRS. MIRIAM V. SIEVERS Mrs. Miriam Velma Sievers, 91, of Franklin, died Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at West Georgia Medical Center. Born August 7, 1919, in Accushnette, MA, Mrs. Sievers was the daughter of the late Ira and Edna Wood Collins. She was a lifetime member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and had lived in this area 14 years. Survivors include her daughters and sons in-law, Yvonne and Jerry Eller of Franklin, Beth and Jerry Zaffis of Spring City, TN; son and daughter in-law, Lester and Zula Pratt of Altamonte Springs, FL; 12 grandchildren, Bucklee, Beaver, Fawna (Sutton), Phoebe, and Shama Eller, and Jerry, Jr., Tiffany (Keedy), Bobby, Tori, and Savannah Zaffis, along with Lezlie (Fuller) and Lester Pratt, Jr.; 9 great-grandchildren; step-daughters, Barbara Strength, Mavis Dean, Janet and Ron Wilkinson, Sue and Rick Bockman, Debbie and Tim Clark; step-sons, Jerry Sievers and Stacey Lindsey; sisters and brother in-law, Alice and Burnell Carney of Syracuse, NY, Barbara Stuart of Sterling, MA; A memorial service will be 4:00 p.m., Saturday, at the Seventh-day Adventist Church at 75 Patillo Rd. in LaGrange. All are welcome. A memorial service will also be held in Montana this summer. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home, Hogansville.
