Miriam Gill Hendrix

MRS. MIRIAM G. HENDRIX Mrs. Miriam Gill Hendrix, 96, of Highlands, TX and formerly of Newnan, died Monday, March 7, 2011, at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown, TX. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 11, at the graveside in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Newnan, with the Reverend Frank Powers officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Thursday night. Mrs. Hendrix was born January 4, 1915, in Meriwether County, daughter of the late George and Florine York Gill. She lived in Coweta County most of her life, was a member of East Newnan Baptist Church, and was retired from William L. Bonnell Company. Survivors include her granddaughter, Kathy and Richard Moncrief of Highlands, TX; and great-granddaughters, Brandy and Ryan Baker of Highlands and Brooke and Brandon Whittlesey of Baytown, TX; and five great-great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Hendrix; her son, Robert Allen Flournoy; and grandson, Chris Allen Flournoy. Claude A.
