MR. MILTON L. HOFFMAN
Mr. Milton L. Hoffman, 80, of Greenville, died Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at his home.
The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 13, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Rev. Danny Boyd will officiate and interment will be in the Luthersville Cemetery, with military and fire department honors.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 9 Friday night.
Mr. Hoffman was born March 17, 1933, in Middle Branch, Ohio, son of the late Homer Ellsworth Hoffman and Irene Kahm Hoffman. He served in the 101st Army Airborne during the Korean War, retired as a parts specialist from the power generation division of General Electric, and had lived in Meriwether County since 1972. He served as a volunteer with the Meriwether County Fire Department for forty years.
Survivors include his son, Steven Hoffman and his wife, Mary and their children, Jonathon, Whitley, and Sherrie and their granddaughter, Macayla, of Newnan; daughters, Sandra Cone and her husband, Guy and their daughter, Georgia, of Manchester and Susan Campbell and her husband, Tony of Newnan; brothers, Jack Hoffman of Port Charlotte, FL, Vick Hoffman of Las Vegas, NV; and his beloved dog, Jake. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane F. Hoffman.
Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
