MRS. MILDRED L. TODD Mrs. Mildred Landers Todd, 84, of Lakeland, Florida and formerly of Hogansville and Jonesboro, died Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at Highlands Lake Center in Lakeland. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 13, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with interment in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Monday night. Mrs. Todd was born August 16, 1927, in Thomaston, daughter of the late Joseph and Ruby Medley Landers. She retired from Delta Airlines after 27 years of service and had lived in Lakeland since 1998, where she was a member of Highland Park Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Todd, and her daughter, Pat Swygert, and is survived by her son in-law, George R. Swygert, Jr. of Lakeland; three grandchildren, Dr. Jeffery Scott Swygert and Dana Swygert Bowers, both of Lakeland, and Steven Todd Swygert of Long Beach, CA; three great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Jo Spradlin of Hogansville; and brother, Jack Landers of Hampton. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Monday night, March 12th, at Claude A.
