Mildred Yearta Pitts Quigley

Mrs. Mildred Yearta Pitts Quigley, 92, of Carrollton, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Quigley was born March 25, 1926, in Hogansville, daughter of the late E.D. Yearta and Catherine Meggison Yearta. A former resident of Hogansville, she lived in Luthersville from 1974 until making her home in Carrollton in 2009. She retired from Uniroyal, Inc. in Hogansville, was a member of the Luthersville Baptist Church, and enjoyed crocheting. Survivors include one brother Eddie Yearta of LaGrange; daughter, Beverly Noles of Carrollton; grandson, Chris Noles and wife Shelby of Carrollton and a great- grandson, Jacob Noles and wife Heather of Graham, AL. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Quigley, Jr and her sister, Davelene Janney. The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 23, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Chris King will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 to 3 Sunday afternoon. Claude A.
