Mrs. Mildred H. Davis, 74, of Greenville, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2017, at Hospice LaGrange. Mrs. Davis was born February 18, 1943, in Atlanta, daughter of the late Eugene and Effie Mauldin Smith. A resident of Meriwether County for 32 years, she was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church and was a retired customer service representative and cashier. She loved caring for her home and her family. Survivors include her husband, Ronald Davis of Greenville; her children, Donna Gray of Greenville, Bill Taylor of Newnan, Carla Byrom of Greenville, Randy Davis of Carrollton, Sharon Baker of Panama City, FL, Joey Davis of Luthersville, Jamie Davis of Newnan, Robin Davis of Peachtree City; sisters, Geri Day of Villa Rica, Ellen Hembree of Mableton; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 13, at Rehoboth Baptist Church in Luthersville. Pastor Brian Hosmer will officiate and interment will be in Luthersville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Tuesday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
