Mr. Mike Flournoy, 72 of Luthersville, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024, at his home.
Mr. Flournoy was born October 7, 1951 in LaGrange. Retired from Georgia Power, Mr. Flournoy was a Lineman and a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was a Deacon at Luthersville Baptist Church, was an avid Bama fan, loved Harley Davidson Motorcycles, and The Allman Brothers Band.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Flournoy of Luthersville; daughters, Lori Jennings (Brian) of Newnan, and Ashley Flournoy (Lisa) of Thomaston; his mother, Ruby Flournoy of Luthersville; sister, Dulinda Hancock (Jerry) of Fairburn; and two grandchildren, Gavin and Hudson. Mr. Flournoy was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Flournoy; and a brother, Donald Flournoy.
Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, at Luthersville Baptist Church. The Reverend John Pape, Reverend Joe Felder, and Reverend T.J. Boyd will officiate and interment will be in the Luthersville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, June 24, and at the church from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, prior to the service.
