Mickey Watts Teel

Mrs. Mickey Watts Teel, 85, of Hogansville, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017, at Twin Fountains Home in LaGrange. Mrs. Teel was born April 1, 1932, in Newnan, daughter of the late J. W. and Kella Pritchard Watts. A resident of Troup County since 1950, she was a member of Hogansville Church of Christ, retired as a unit secretary from West Georgia Medical Center, and then served as a Senior Companion for seven years. Survivors include her daughter, Becky Yates Cosper and her husband, Billy Cosper of Hogansville; a special niece, Linda Stalvey of LaGrange; and a number of nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Teel. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 29, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Brad Thompson will officiate and interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to LaGrange-Troup County Humane Society.
