Michael Wayne Johnson

Mr. Michael Wayne Johnson, 45, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023, at his home.

Mr. Johnson was born August 24, 1978, in Atlanta, son of the late Frederick Johnson and Brenda Sue Hare. A self-employed painting contractor, he loved his work as a painter and enjoyed being outdoors and fishing. He also loved rock n' roll music and enjoyed playing guitar.

Survivors include his sons, Dalton Johnson, Dakota Johnson, and Dallas Johnson, all of Hogansville; sisters, Melissa Williams of Hogansville and Veronica Johnson of Newnan; brother, Jody Johnson of Thomaston; and several nieces and nephews

A private family viewing and service will be held.
