Michael Edward Mallory

Michael E. Mallory, 63, of Cataula and formerly of LaGrange, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Hospice LaGrange.

Mr. Mallory was born February 21, 1961, at Hunter Air Force Base in Savannah, son of the late Charles Donald Mallory and Anne Holder Mallory. He lived in LaGrange most of his life before making his home in Cataula in 2015. He loved playing with his grandchildren and listening to rock music as loudly as possible. He also enjoyed coin collecting and loved being outdoors, gardening, landscaping, and cutting grass.

Survivors include his daughters, Taylor Holland and her husband Jon Holland of Cataula, Stacey Coffman and her husband Michael Coffman of Summerville, SC; grandchildren, Raul Coffman, Taylor Coffman, Roman Coffman, and Russ Holland; brothers, Keith Mallory of LaGrange, Gary Mallory and his wife Meatha Mallory of Auburn, AL, Charles B. Mallory and his wife Kristin Mallory of LaGrange; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Lorrie Mallory Seymour and Janet Renee Mallory; and brothers, Charles Donald Mallory, Jr. and Kerry Wayne Mallory.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 26, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 25.
