Michael D. Dubose

Mr. Michael D. DuBose, 55, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Mr. DuBose was born November 22, 1965, in Columbus, and lived in the Atlanta area most of his life before making his home in Franklin in 2012. He was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing with his father. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Charles H. DuBose and is survived by his mother, Martha DuBose of Franklin; sisters and brothers, Moreen Demby and Jean Marie Calma both of San Diego, CA, Jeffery and Michelle Evans of Auburn, Donna Michelle Gunckel of West Columbia, SC, William Evans and Tim Dubose both of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Charlie DuBose and his sister Angela Edna DuBose. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 24, at the graveside in College Park Cemetery, with the Reverend Milton Hall officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Sunday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
