Michael C. Davis

Mr. Michael C. Davis, 71, of Lanett, Alabama, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020, at his home. Mr. Davis was born August 30, 1949, in Hogansville, son of the late Clifford and Doris Lunsford Davis. A graduate of Hogansville High School, he served in the Georgia Army National Guard and retired as a utilities superintendent. Survivors include his daughters and sons in-law, Keri and Marty Lindsey, Dana and Brandon Cobb, all of LaGrange, Emily Davis and William (BJ) Fowls of Lanett; sons, Michael Whitely (Whit) Davis of Lanett and Clifford Wayne (Chip) Davis of Jasper; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Davis Moncus. The family is honoring Mr. Davis's wishes that no memorial service be conducted and that his cremated remains be buried in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville. Claude A.
