Michael William Brooks

Mr. Michael William Brooks, 28, of Luthersville, passed away Monday, January 6, 2020. Michael was born December 23, 1991, in LaGrange and attended Troup High School. He was a member of Alvaton Baptist Church, enjoyed being outdoor,s and loved riding four-wheelers. Survivors include his wife, Dana Brooks of Luthersville; father and step-mother, Jimmy and Christy Duncan of Luthersville; step-father, Mark Wilson; step-siblings, Dakota Williams, Caitlyn Williams, Brian Williams all of Luthersville, Alex Wilson of Sarasota, FL; grandparents, Ann and James Brooks of West Point, Lynn and Michael Barentine of Luthersville; great-grandmothers, Annie Lankford of LaGrange and Lois Hand of Luthersville; sister in-law, Amy Huynh of Jonesboro; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his faithful canine companion, Lulu. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cindy Marie Brooks Wilson. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 13, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend T.J. Boyd and the Reverend Jimmy Duncan officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 until 1 Monday afternoon. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
