Melvin Ray Walker

MELVIN RAY WALKER Mr. Melvin Ray "Brother" Walker, 65 of LaGrange, passed away Tuesday March 15, 2022 at Hospice LaGrange. Born September 2, 1956 in Buffalo, New York, Mr. Walker was the son of the late Melvin Walker and Inez Crane Kelly. A resident of Troup County for the past 7 years, he lived most of his life in Atlanta and was Baptist by faith. Mr. Walker loved people and music, was a constant jokester, and will be remembered as a "professional gypsy". Survivors include his sisters, Sheila Howington of Pine Mountain, Delores Clontz of Hickory, NC, and Linda Brock of Monroe; a brother, Garvin Kelly of Hickory, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
