MRS. MELBA NEAL
Mrs. Melba Sanders Neal, 76, of Greenville, died Friday, May 30, 2008, at Roosevelt Warm Springs Institute for Rehabilitation.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 2, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend J.E. Thornton and the Reverend Johnny Williamson will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville.
Mrs. Neal was born April 7, 1932, in Douglasville, daughter of the late Harvey and Lela Swann Sanders. She lived in Forest Park before making her home in Greenville in 1978 and attended the First Assembly of God in Hogansville.
Survivors include her husband, George N. Neal of Greenville; daughter, Cindy Neal Johnson and her husband, Steve, of Greenville; sons and daughters in-law, George N., Jr. and Becky Neal of Suwanee, Michael E. and Laura Neal of Greenville, and Mark A. and Gail Neal of Hogansville; brother and sister in-law, Harvey G., Jr. and Joyce Neal of Mableton; 18 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
The Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
