Melanie Bartlett Chambers

Mrs. Melanie Bartlett Chambers, 44 of LaGrange, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at Hospice LaGrange surrounded by her friends and family.

Melanie was born January 13, 1979 in LaGrange and was a lifelong resident of the Hogansville and LaGrange area. She received her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from LaGrange College and worked at LaGrange Counseling. Melanie loved horses and managed a horse farm, enjoyed traveling and going to concerts.

Survivors include her son, Jasper Chambers and her daughter, Ally Chambers, both of Newnan; her mother, Donna Bartlett; brothers and sister in-law, Bo and Sheree Bartlett and Michael Bartlett, all of Hogansville; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Melanie was preceded in death by her father, Barry Bartlett.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 18, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home with the Reverend Jeff Duran and Mr. Sam Shaw officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Thursday evening.
