Maureen Higgins Ortmann

Mrs. Maureen Higgins Ortmann, 64, of Hogansville, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Twin Fountains Home in LaGrange.

Mrs. Ortmann was born February 15, 1960, in Sharon, Connecticut. Making her home in Hogansville in 2005, she worked for Sungwon Georgia for 11 years, enjoyed crafting, puzzles, and reading books. Mrs. Ortmann loved the outdoors, whether it was working in her garden, lounging in her pool, or vacationing at the beach.

Survivors include her husband, Steven Ortmann of Hogansville; mother, Doris Higgins of Sharon, CT; sister and brother in-law, Kathy and Chris Thorsland of Pine Mountain; brothers and sister in-law, Kevin Higgins of Dover Plains, NY and Frank and Mable Higgins of Sarnia, Canada; nieces, Kayla Higgin, Erica Ortmann, and Vanessa Ortmann Sabbagh; and nephew, Hunter Higgins. Mrs. Ortmann was preceded in death by her father, George Higgins; and her brother, Terry Higgins
