Mrs. Mattie Lou Todd, 98, of Hogansville, passed away Friday, September 30, 2016, at Hospice LaGrange. Mrs. Todd was born August 4, 1918, in Langdale, Alabama, daughter of the late Andrew Nelson Hartman and Sadie Bell Lee Hartman. A resident of Hogansville most of her life, she retired from Uniroyal, Inc. after 44 years of service and was a member of Highland Baptist Church. She was the wife of the late Eddie B. Todd. Survivors include her sister, Dorothy Cambron of Cedartown; her brother, Ted Hartman of Columbus; and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 3, at Highland Baptist Church in Hogansville. The Reverend Terry Rainwater and the Reverend Frank Sledge will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
