Mary L. Sullivan

Mrs. Mary L. Sullivan, 66, of Sonora, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday November 30, 2022 at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

Mrs. Sullivan was born December 12, 1955, in Hogansville, daughter of the late James Ralph Matthews and Betty Odom Matthews. She had been employed as a waitress.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Coleman Matthews, and sister, Teresa Matthews Coggins and is survived by her sons, Roger Ellington II of Phenix City, Alabama, Matthew (Tosha) Ellington of LaGrange; sister, Sandra (Bro) Close of Sonora, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.

The graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 6, in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home.
