Mary Loyce Rainey

Mrs. Mary Loyce Banks Rainey, of Grantville, passed away peacefully Monday, March 7, 2022. Mrs. Rainey was born April 26, 1944, in Carroll County, daughter of the late John Wesley Banks and Clara Simpkins Banks. She was Baptist by faith and retired from Piedmont Newnan Hospital. She loved her family and friends and is survived by her three daughters, Tammy Ayers and her husband Ricky Ayers of Grantville, Renee Ward of Newnan, Donna Rainey of Armuchee and their families. Her favorite pastime was her seven grandchildren, Kyle Ward, Dalton Ayers, Natalie Rainey, Rainey Ayers Litchford, Sidney Ward Krupa, McKinzy Snyder, and Chase Snyder. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 12, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Mike Barnes and Mr. Tony Samples will officiate and interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan.
