Mary Ann Pressley

Mrs. Mary Ann Pressley, age 82 of LaGrange, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Hospice LaGrange.

Born February 24, 1944 in Troup County, Mrs. Pressley was the daughter of the late Grady Hood Johnson and the late Lizzie Mae Barintine Kistler. She was a lifelong resident of Troup County and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church for over 50 years. Mrs. Pressley enjoyed listening to the oldies, writing poems, and talking to "Alexa". She will be remembered for always being loving and caring for everyone.

Survivors include her children, Steve (Amy) Pressley, and Lynn Wilson; sister, Linda Batchelor, all of LaGrange; and her grandchildren, Steven Pressley, Destiny (Kaen) McDonald, Mallory (Logan) Carson, Morgan (Chandler) Bylsma, Nikki (Shane) Hammett, Cody (Jessica) Wilson, and Craig (Francesca) Wilson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pressley was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Pressley.

The Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 23, 2026, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. The Reverend Jeff Duran and Reverend Jimmy Little will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Thursday afternoon.
