MRS. MARY PIKE MILLER
Mrs. Mary Pike Miller, 86, of Dallas, died Saturday, September 10, 2011, at Wellstar Paulding Hospital in Dallas.
he funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Monday, September 12, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Harrison Cain will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 until 4 Monday afternoon.
Mrs. Miller was born December 7, 1924, in Troup County, daughter of the late William Leron (Sonny) Pike and the late Velma Wright Pike. A former resident of Hogansville, she was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, had lived in the Atlanta area for many years, and was retired from Pike Family Nurseries.
Survivors include her daughters, Patti Hyde Lovett and her husband, Michael Lovett of Hiram, and Valerie Miller White of Woodstock; former sons in-law, Kenneth White and Barry Hyde; sisters, Earlene Pike Stamps of Tucker and Bobbie Pike Edwards of Stone Mountain; brother, William (Pete) Pike of Stone Mountain; grandchildren, Kendra White Smith, Kenneth William White, Patrick Neal Hyde, and Peyton McKinney-Leigh Hyde; great-grandchildren, Drew Whiten, Alexis Whiten, Brynlee Smith, Emma Grace White; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Virginia Massengale and Pat Pike Rogers.
Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
