MRS. BECKY H. McWATERS Mrs. Mary Elizabeth (Becky) Hooten McWaters, 69, of Port Orange, FL, died Saturday, April 4, 2009, at Lebanon Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lebanon, TN. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 7, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. The Reverend Max McCord will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville. Mrs. McWaters was born May 14, 1939, in Hogansville, daughter of the late William Pierce Hooten and the late Avaline Huff Hooten. A resident of Port Orange for the past ten years, she was a former resident of Hogansville and Newnan, was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hogansville, and was a retired tax accountant. Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Patti and Anthony Morris of Carthage, TN; son, Stan McWaters of Calhoun; daughter in-law, Lou Ann McWaters of Gainesville; brother, Steve Hooten of Marion, IN; grandchildren, Nicholas Morris, Maeghan Brown, Josh McWaters, MacKenzie McWaters, Shawna Peace, and Michael McWaters; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Frank M. McWaters, Jr.; her son, Michael McWaters; and her brother, Rick Hooten. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Monday night, April 6th, at Claude A.
