Mary Jeanette Kimbrell, 78, of Bremen, passed away Friday, October 4, 2024, at Haralson Nursing and Rehab.
Jeanette was born August 16, 1946, in Randolph County, Alabama, daughter of the late Willie B. Kimbrell and Hettie Irvin Kimbrell. She lived in Bremen for many years, was employed for 22 years at HPI of Bremen, and had attended Bremen Church of Christ. Jeanette had many friends at Haralson Nursing and Rehab and many favorite things, including her favorite song, "Jesus Loves Me."; her favorite color, yellow; her favorite flowers, yellow roses and daisies; and her favorite foods, spaghetti, tacos, pizza, and anything spicy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Margie Kimbrell Vasquez; and her brothers, Rayford Kimbrell, Harlice Kimbrell, and Hubert Kimbrell. Survivors include a number of nieces and nephews, and a very dear and close friend, Loretta Lawson of Carrollton.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 9, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Terry Rainwater will officiate and interment will be in East Napolean Church of Christ Cemetery in Woodland, AL at 3:30 p.m. (EDT).
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, prior to the service.
