MRS. MARY JO KEITH Mrs. Mary Jo Keith, 85, of Hogansville, died Saturday, March 12, 2011, at Hospice LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 16, at First Baptist Church of Hogansville. The Reverend Clinton Hughes and the Reverend Dale Prather will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Tuesday night. Mrs. Keith was born September 29, 1925, in Bessemer, Alabama, daughter of the late Robert and Hattie Holcomb Echols. She lived at Hogansville more than 70 years, was a member of First Baptist Church of Hogansville, and was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Tom W. Keith. A very talented seamstress, Mrs. Keith owned Mary Jo's Fabrics in Hogansville for a number of years and had also operated a ceramics shop. She enjoyed teaching ceramics and loved to attend craft shows. Survivors include her daughters and sons in-law, Bonnie and Johnny Stone, Jr. of Cumming, Judy and Frank Powers of Newnan, Becky and David Ladd of Colorado Springs, CO, and Tammie Keith of Hogansville; sister, Sara and Jay Rawlinson of Montgomery, AL; brother, Tommy and Priscilla Echols of McDonough; sister in-law, Marie Echols of Montgomery; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and her loving caregivers, Barbara and Kelly Harding. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Property Fund, Post Office Box 307, Hogansville, GA 30230. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Tuesday night, March 15th, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Services: 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 16th, at First Baptist Church of Hogansville Interment: Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville
