MRS. MARY JOHNSTON
Mrs. Mary Johnston, 90, of Pensacola, Florida and formerly of the Corinth Community, died Tuesday, February 1, 2011, at Covenant Hospice in Pensacola.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 5, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Richard Campbell will officiate and interment will be in the Corinth Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 until 11 Saturday morning.
Mrs. Johnston was born March 13, 1920, in Texarkana, Arkansas, daughter of the late Walter and Roselie Sloan Davis. Before making her home in Pensacola in 2009, she lived in Corinth for fifty years and was a member of Corinth United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Johnston, and is survived by her niece, Cecelia and Michael Coburger of Pensacola; great-nephews, Brad and Amanda Sommerset, Matt and Melissa Coburger; and great-great-nieces and nephews, Kayla, Kelsey, Kylie, Miles, Makhi, and Malcolm.
Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
