MRS. MARY GRAHAM JOHNSON
Mrs. Mary Graham Johnson, 91, of Grantville, died Friday, October 1, 2010, at Hospice LaGrange.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 4, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Wayne Sutton and the Reverend Ellis Freeman will officiate and interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan.
Born August 17, 1919, in Coweta County, Mrs. Johnson was the daughter of the late Roy and Emma Dyer Graham. She taught school for several years, and then remained at home to care for her family and to serve in community volunteer activities, including Newnan Hospital Auxilliary. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Grantville, and was wife of the late William Hugh Johnson.
Survivors include her son and daughter in-law, Randy and Linda Johnson of Jonesboro; sister and brother in-law, Juanita and Robert Cardin of Grantville; sister in-law, Mary Ann Andersen and her husband, Arne, of South Carolina; grandchildren, Todd Johnson of Stockbridge, Kimberly Ann McGrath and her husband, Lee, of Greer, SC; great-grandchildren, Andrew Logan McGrath and Molly Clare McGrath; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
