Mrs. Mary Jane Flournoy, 66, of Luthersville, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
Mrs. Flournoy was born March 8, 1950 in Newnan, daughter of the late R.W. (Bob) Jenkins and Rachel Shaddix Jenkins. A resident of Meriwether County since 1986, she retired from Kroger in Newnan after 25 years of service and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Grantville. Mary Jane loved antiques and enjoyed going to flea markets and yard sales.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Flournoy of Luthersville; daughter and son in-law, Rosemary and J. T. Butler of Rock Mills, AL; brother, Ron Jenkins of Rome; and grandchildren, Carlee Jane Butler and Spencer Thomas Butler.
A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 14, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend R.L. Brazil officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 until 4 Wednesday afternoon.
