MRS. MARY EVELYN DUKE Mrs. Mary Evelyn Smith Duke, 91, of LaGrange, died Friday, January 7, 2011 at LaGrange Nursing and Rehab. Born June 21, 1919 in Carroll County, Mrs. Duke was the daughter of the late William and Luvie Carroll Smith. She retired fromCallaway Mills and was a member of Upper Room Apostolic Church in LaGrange. Survivors include her daughters, June Smith and Juanita Hudgins; a son and daughter in-law, Michael and Geraldine Duke, all of LaGrange; her brother, Johnny Smith of Carrollton; 20 grandchildren and many great and great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Duke's body has been cremated and her family will host a memorial service at a later date.
