Mary Dove Connors

MRS. MARY DOVE CONNORS Mrs. Mary Dove Morris Connors, 96, of Apopka, FL and formerly of Atlanta, died Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at Hospice LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, at the graveside in Prospect Methodist Cemetery in Chamblee. Mrs. Connors was born January 15, 1916, in Dunwoody, daughter of the late Thomas Ernest Dove and the late Rosa Lee Burnham Dove. She had lived in Florida since 1996, was a member of First Baptist Church of Mt. Dora, Florida, and enjoyed bowling and area senior activities. Survivors include her daughter, Virginia Belcher of Apopka, FL; son, Joel N. Morris, Jr. of LaGrange; sisters, Lettie Robinson of Melbourne, FL, Ethel Webb of Rome; grandchildren, Kathie Roper of LaGrange, Karen Murphy of Auburn, GA, Nancy Doiron of Clermont, FL, W. Curtis Ballard of Ocoee, FL; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and serveral nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Joel N. Morris and Joe J. Connors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice LaGrange, 1410 Vernon Rd., LaGrange, GA 30240. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
