MRS. MARY LEE BROWN Mrs. Mary Lee Brown, 81, of LaGrange, died Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at Florence Hand Home. The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Friday, July 8, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Dennis Boyd and the Reverend Randy Dunlap will officiate and interment will be in the Mooty Family Cemetery in LaGrange. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Thursday night. Mrs. Brown was born November 23, 1929, in LaGrange, daughter of the late John and Carrie Belle Simons Langford. She had owned and operated convenience stores in Atlanta and LaGrange and was employed at Dairy Queen in LaGrange for 11 years. A member of Northside Baptist Church in LaGrange and the WMU, She enjoyed working puzzles, was an avid reader, and especially enjoyed reading The Singing News. Survivors include her husband, Tony L. Brown of LaGrange; daughters, Elaine and Frank Lesley of Hogansville, Barbara Jean Taylor of LaGrange; sons, Robert and Linda Manning, Wayne and Karen Manning, all of LaGrange, James and Ann Manning of Woodbury, Keith Manning and Phyllis Stewart of Hogansville; sister, Myrtle Knight of LaGrange; sister in-law, Barbara Langford of Mobile, AL; 19 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Thursday night, July 7th, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Services: 3:00 p.m., Friday, July 8th, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Interment: Mooty Family Cemetery in LaGrange
