Marvin E. Hogan

Mr. Marvin Enoch Hogan, went to his heavenly home on Saturday, July 6, 2019. Mr. Hogan was born on June 25, 1939 to Annie Ruth and Ben Hogan and had just celebrated his eightieth birthday. He spent most of his life in the Grantville and Franklin area and was a member of First Baptist Church of Franklin. Along with his mother and father, all six of his siblings preceded him in death and he is survived by eleven nieces and nephews. The family acknowledges with appreciation the staff of Colonial Guest House, Avalon Health and Rehabilitation, and Affinis Hospice for the kindness and loving care that was provided to Marvin A graveside service is planned at 11:30 a.m., Monday, July 8, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Newnan, with the Reverend Andrew Owensby officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m., Monday, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Franklin, P. O. Box 216, Franklin, GA 30217. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
