MRS. MARTHA WILLIAMSON Mrs. Martha Butler Williamson, 57, of LaGrange, died Friday, September 5, 2008, at Hospice LaGrange. The memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 8, at the cryptside at Shadowlawn Mausoleum in LaGrange, with the Reverend Leonard Hodge and the Reverend Ben Lumley officiating. Mrs. Williamson was born July 24, 1951, in LaGrange, daughter of the late William and Cassie Railey Butler. She was a lifelong resident of LaGrange, was a member of LaGrange Pentecostal Holiness Church, and was employed as a cosmetologist and hairdresser for many years. Survivors include daughters, Tracie Clark of LaGrange and Tabatha Monroe of Hogansville; son, Steven Monroe of Cleveland, TN; granddaughter, Barbie Clark of LaGrange; sisters, Frances Ashworth, Margaret Merritt, and JoAnn Mitchell, all of LaGrange; and brothers, Larry Butler of LaGrange, William Butler of Albuquerque, NM, and Melvin Butler of Newnan. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Deana Williamson. The Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
