Martha Davis Tindall

Mrs. Martha Davis Tindall, 72, of Grantville, passed away Monday, October 17, 2022, at Emory Midtown Hospital in Atlanta.

Mrs. Tindall was born September 17, 1950, daughter of the late Rev. James Andrew Davis, Jr. and Elsie Miller Davis. A lifelong resident of Grantville, she was a former City Clerk for the City of Grantville and enjoyed serving the citizens. She loved cooking and being with her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Angela McGee; grandchildren, Josh Hines, and Valarie Simpson and her husband Kenneth Simpson, all of Grantville; great-grandchildren, Jamon Reeves, Jala Reeves, Ryan Simpson; and sister and brother in-law, Judy and Frank Rooks of Newnan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Henry A. Tindall, Jr.; and her brother, James Andrew Davis III.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 21, at the graveside in the Grantville Cemetery, with Pastor Brian Hosmer officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friday.
